A Little About Sarah

Sarah Myers is a writer, editor, and content strategist based in Bentonville, Arkansas, with a knack for turning complicated ideas into compelling stories.

By day, she's a Senior Copywriter on Walmart Marketplace's Seller Acquisition team, where she blends creative storytelling with marketing strategy to develop campaigns, digital experiences, and messaging that make businesses take notice. Before that, she helped shape Walmart's seller education ecosystem, leading content strategy, video production, and e-learning initiatives designed to make the complex feel surprisingly simple. Whether she's writing a punchy headline or building a content strategy from scratch, she believes great writing should do more than communicate—it should connect.

By night, she teaches hot yoga, writes fiction and personal essays, and cooks a mean BLT pasta.

Before Walmart, Sarah spent a decade in Chicago writing essays, arts reviews, and editorial content for publications like Thought Catalog, Chicago Stage Standard, and Today's Chicago Woman. She also served as Assistant Director of Communications at Columbia College Chicago, where she developed marketing campaigns and engagement strategies celebrating artists, students, and the beautiful chaos in between.

After trading the Windy City for Northwest Arkansas, her career took a few interesting turns—from strategic communications at BNSF Logistics to producing live newscasts for 40/29 News, an ABC affiliate. (Yes, she's written everything from 6 a.m. breaking news to CEO talking points.)

Sarah joined Walmart in 2018 writing product descriptions for private-label brands and has since built a career spanning brand marketing, creative campaigns, content strategy, and digital education. Along the way, she's discovered that the best storytelling doesn't belong to any one medium, industry, or audience.

Whether she's crafting a campaign, developing a learning experience, or writing a slice-of-life essay, Sarah brings curiosity, clarity, and just the right amount of mischief to everything she creates.
